Brach's is hoppin' to it this Easter season with their very own Chocolate Covered Marshmallow Rabbits, and we're completely fascinated to say the least. Not only do these seasonal treats look, erm, interesting, but the flavor is entirely unique as well!
The packaging and presentation of Brach's Chocolate Covered Marshmallow Rabbits is colorful, fun and what you might expect from a traditional Easter chocolate, but once you open the wrapper what you discover inside is hilariously terrifying! Each finger-sized "rabbit" has a mutated body and a creepy nondescript face. Actually, they look like what your puppy might leave on the grass if you know what we mean.
The flavor is surprising as well. Besides super sweet milk chocolate, we picked up notes of vanilla, fruity melon and toasted almonds. The texture is pleasantly creamy and fluffy with a substantial chewiness.
We couldn't stop eating these weird little creatures as we tried to decipher what we were looking at and tasting -- and we totally had fun doing it!
