Astro Burger: Hungry in Hollywood

Astro Burger opened its doors in 1974 on Melrose Avenue as a drive-thru fastfood burger joint, but over the years it has expanded its menu to include countless vegetarian items and Greek food.

We opted for an old fashioned "Astroburger Cheeseburger Jr." and a hard shell beef taco. The meat on the cheeseburger was perfectly charbroiled and placed on a toasty bun with cheese, mayo, crisp lettuce and cool tomato. The taco was loaded with savory ground beef, zesty salsa, lettuce and tangy cheese, all in a freshly fried corn tortilla. Delicious!
