Hi-C Ecto Cooler is BACK just in time for the release of the new Ghostbusters movie, out in theaters July 15. This orange-tangerine flavored juice drink was first released in 1989 as a tie-in for "Ghostbusters II." Ecto Cooler was the same flavor as Hi-C's existing Citrus Cooler, but it was made the color of green slime to represent the movie brand. The drink was discontinued in 2001, much to the dismay of loyal fans.
The new packaging does not feature the iconic lovable ghost, Slimer, like the original product, but instead has a cool dripping green slime effect. The taste is very sweet and smooth with a strong fruity tang from the citrus juice, and the color is a perfectly glowing bright green.
Make sure to grab Ecto Cooler online or at participating retailers. There's no telling how long this new incarnation will last!
