Chewy Lemonhead & Friends Fruit Candy: Best of America's Snacks

    September 22, 2014

We are taking a bite out of America's best snack foods!

Ferrara Candy Company's Chewy Lemonhead & Friends have that classic, old-timey fruit candy taste that really transports you to a care-free and jolly place. Original Lemonhead hard candies were first introduced in 1962. Recently, Ferrara combined Lemonhead with his other fruit-head friends to make a chewy mix of fruity fun, and we think these are some of the best fruit snack candies out there!

    Let's meet the gang!

LEMONHEAD: The beauty, and irony, of Lemonhead is that he is the worst tasting of all of his friends -- he's a real "lemon!" This chewy candy is sweet, sour and bitter all at once, and he tastes like a household cleaning product (in the best possible way?)! He's so lemony that it's actually really fun puckering up when you eat him!

ORANGEHEAD: Orangehead is the more mellow citrus cousin of Lemonhead. He's yummy and not too bitter with a smooth orangeade flavor.

GRAPEHEAD: Our favorite is Grapehead. He has a nice tart tang and a very realistic juicy taste!

CHERRYHEAD: Old school cherry-flavored candy can have a medicinal flavor, but Cherryhead tastes great with a pleasant fruity pucker.

APPLEHEAD: Our second favorite buddy is Applehead. It's nice to see the green variety not be a sour lime flavor. This guy tastes like he was plucked from the orchard and infused with tart sugar!

Chewy Lemonhead & Friends are made with real fruit juice and are a fat-free candy. Dig into these guilt-free sweet dudes, today!
