If you're not a fan of Pepsi's new aspartame free Diet Pepsi, don't fret. Pepsi has released a "Classic Sweetener Blend Diet Pepsi" which still contains aspartame (as opposed to Splenda). The move is intended to placate fleeing Diet Pepsi fans who were not happy with the taste of the new formula. Classic Sweetener Blend Diet Pepsi indeed tastes classic and it comes in a beautiful, retro-inspired light blue packaging. But in true Pepsi fashion, this new release is difficult to find as the aspartame free recipe is still intended to be the primary version of Diet Pepsi. Call your local Pepsi supplier to ask if they carry Classic Sweetener Blend.
