As part of their current $1 $2 $3 Dollar Menu, McDonald's has released the NEW Classic Chicken Sandwich. This $3 sammy pairs a crispy chicken filet with pickle chips and sweet and tangy Signature Sauce all inside of a toasted, soft regular bun. The Classic Chicken Sandwich sets itself apart from it's cheaper $1 cousin, the highly processed McChicken, by using an all white meat chicken breast. We thought the flavors of this new item were subtle and indeed "classic" with the tempting, peppery fried chicken really shining through as the star of the sandwich. While not as tasty as their now retired and very similarly dressed Southern Style Crispy Chicken Sandwich, this new product is simply delicious.
