NEW Diet Pepsi: ASPARTAME FREE ZONE

Diet Pepsi has made the switch! Diet Pepsi, Caffeine Free Diet Pepsi and Wild Cherry Diet Pepsi will now all use Splenda, or ace-K and sucralose, as a calorie-free sweetener instead of aspartame. Because of customer health concerns about aspartame, Pepsi made the change to not only meet consumer demands but to also try and boost profits.

But how does it taste? Pretty much the same, if not a little more smooth! We were impressed that Diet Pepsi was able to make the switch without a noticeable difference in taste, and if anything there seems to be less of a chemical aftertaste with the new product. It will be interesting to see if Pepsi is able to increase sales with the new formula and if Diet Coke will follow suit by removing aspartame from its products.

Aspartame-free Diet Pepsi is now available. Make sure the label says "NOW ASPARTAME FREE" because older stocks of Diet Pepsi are still currently being sold.
