Watch out Red Lobster, Popeyes is flooding the docks this summer with their NEW Cheddar Biscuit Butterfly Shrimp. We recently taste tested them and they just about blew us out of the water!
For this new variety, fantailed shrimp are dredged in a cheddar biscuit flavored batter then fried to golden perfection. These crunchy critters are packed with scrumptious cheddar and garlic flavor and taste even better when dunked in the accompanying Ghost Pepper Jelly dipping sauce, which provides a tasty lil kick of sweet heat.
