Based on the popular young adult series written by horror master R.L. Stine, this fiendish flick is actually pretty darn scary and very well crafted. Set during Halloween, this creepy tale is hauntingly atmospheric with impeccably designed Halloween sets and props. The movie features some gruesomely terrifying creature effects and plenty of ooey gooey slime. The whole family will love being transported on a spooky Halloween getaway where danger lurks at every corner!

Goth-girl Cassie is new to town and is already being relentlessly bullied by the most popular girls in school. When Cassie takes matters into her own hands with the help of a mysterious book called "The Evil Thing," her prank turns to the dark side when she unknowingly unleashes an evil creature hellbent on destroying everything in its path. Soon enough, the resident mean girl and Cassie's little brother disappear and Cassie, with the help of her handsome crush, must stop at nothing to save Halloween night from turning into a horrifying disaster!
