TASTYKAKE Releases NEW Limited Edition Fall Flavors!
It's pumpkin spice season and Tastykake isn't one to be left out in the cold. This season, nationwide snack brand Tastykake debuts their take on the iconic fall flavor with NEW Fall Edition Pumpkin Spice Mini Donuts! In addition, they've also released more fun fall inspired products like Caramel Apple Mini Donuts and Salted Caramel Kandy Kakes!
The fine folks over at Tastykake gifted us a sampling of these exciting new products, so we tried 'em out just for you!
Pumpkin Spice Mini Donuts
Tastykake's Pumpkin Spice Mini Donuts consist of sweet pumpkin flavored cake donuts generously dusted in spiced powdered sugar. These bite-sized treats are soft and pillowy in texture and loaded with pumpkin spice flavors like nutmeg and cinnamon. They genuinely taste like fall and would go great alongside a steamy pumpkin spice latte!
Caramel Apple Mini Donuts
Tastykake's Limited Edition Caramel Apple Mini Donuts feature bite-sized apple flavored cake donuts coated in caramel flavored crunch. These miniature cake donuts are moist and fresh with a slightly chewy texture from the caramel crunch. They're tasty indeed and remind us of the classic comfort fair food invoked on the packaging.
Salted Caramel Kandy Kakes
These Fall Edition Tastykakes are probably the least "fall" of the new batch of products, but they're still delicious and a welcome member to the family. A layer of soft cake is topped with salted caramel flavored filling then slathered in chocolate flavored icing. The texture is smooth and buttery throughout and the salty/sweet flavors are in perfect harmony. We enjoyed these with a frosty diet cola and the snack experience was premium.
