Texas Chainsaw 3D (2013): Red Lobster & A Movie

A surf-and-turf night to remember!

The turf: "Texas Chainsaw 3D" is a direct sequel to the original "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" from 1974 -- it disregards all of the sequels and remakes that have been released over the years and takes off from where the original left off. Fast paced, bloody, sexy and well-cast, the sequel is actually very different from the other movies in the franchise in that it breaks the mold of the typical/expected thrasher formula with a more narrative-driven, psychological approach that asks the audience to rethink the nature of evil. Although not a masterpiece by any means, the movie is plumb fun with lots of skin, blood splatter and 3D chainsaw shots.

The surf: Red Lobster is currently offering a great "4-Course Feast" deal that's hard to resist, four courses for $15.99 ($20.99 in Times Square near Snaxtime Headquarters)! We recommend:

Course 1: Fresh Garden Salad with Chunky Bleu Cheese Dressing and Unlimited Cheddar Bay Biscuits
Course 2: Creamy New England Clam Chowder
Course 3: Hand-Breaded Shrimp with Tartar and Cocktail Sauce and Creamy Langostino Lobster Mashed Potatoes (for an additional fee)
Course 4: Smooth and Tangy Key Lime Pie

The perfect, gluttonous follow up to a bloody good chiller!
