Located in the front area of the Asian mega-eatery The General on Bowery in New York City, The General Bakery is only open from 6am-2PM, 7 days a week. Pastry Chef Thiago Silva has done something special with the bakery's donuts by creating cereal-inspired confections. The Fruity Pebbles Donut is fluffy and soft, glazed, coated in Fruity Pebbles cereal and filled with "Cereal Milk" custard! If you're not feeling too fruity, they also have Coco Puffs and Cinnamon Toast Crunch Donuts. For a more lunchtime-inspired treat, try the PB&J Donut filled with peanut butter cream and drizzled in jelly.
